    Default .22 suppressor companies?

I just purchased a Ruger SR22 with threaded barrel, and once I have the money saved up I'll be going through the process of getting a suppressor. I'm in research mode now and looking up different vendors. Does anyone have a favorite?

So far in my rudimentary research, I've found that I want one I can take apart and clean.

SWR Warlock 2 if its a dedicated 22lr can. I'd say quietest 22 can made. If not then the spectre 2 for 22 and up to 5.7 usage for a hundred bucks more.

Check out the ones listed below, some can handle not only 22 lr but also 22 mag, 17 mag, 5.7 which would be nice so you can use it on other hosts later on...

I will give another vote to the SWR Spectre II.

I currently have a SWR Spectre and have cleaned it 2 or 3 times with no problems, debated about their upgrade program but frankly don't see the need to yet. Also, the only down side is the weight so far.

I've heard a lot of good things, never held one or shot one yet. For the price though seems pretty solid, defiantly one I would consider.

+1 for Huntertown Arms Guardian22. I bought the aluminum baffled model to save $40...a mistake because the aluminum is harder to keep clean. I run it on a 22/45 and with CCI Quiet it doesn't cycle the action so it is *very* quiet! An effective suburban varmint population control device.

+2 for the HunterTown Arms Guardian .22. I just bought one at the beginning of the month. You can't beat it for a price of $200. And it is very very light, I believe it weighs 6oz. I can't wait to get the stamp for it!

Sorry. Just checked their website. It's no longer listed for 223. Buddy a while back when I got my first can had a spectre on his 223. It was the older style model 1. Maybe when they changed it they changed the specks on the can. Maybe not. Maybe my buddy was just being unsafe running it on his AR.

Sorry for the misinformation about the spectre.

I'll keep my mouth shut next time.
