Sorry for the misinformation about the spectre.

I'll keep my mouth shut next time.
I recall when they first came out with the Spectre they had tested it on an AR, there is a video of it but they did not endorse this as normal use. The video is from SWR and video comments are as follows from the uploader (SWR) "*Do not try this*. The Spectre is rated for 22lr, 22 WMR and 5.7mm. This is only a demonstration to show the strength and safety margin engineered into the Spectre."

Your buddy mostly likely misunderstood the information that had been put out at the time, I don't think that SWR making a video that proved that it could be done didn't help at all.

Did you upgrade to the stainless baffles?

I assumed that you were referring to the old video medic posted.
Every time it is brought up Henry said he wished he never posted that video LOL

No harm done, i just wanted to make sure that either i missed some important info or someone fed you wrong info.
Im pretty sure your bud was abusing his Spectre.

I highly recommend the Huntertown Guardian 22 stainless. I use the Guardian for demos to customers and it's a solid can. Can't beat the price either. If you're getting a larger caliber suppressor, that's one thing. But for a .22, you definitely don't need to go with a big brand named can.

I just sent my forms in for a hunter town guardian .22. Where can I purchase stainless baffles for it? I would like to upgrade to them once I receive my stamp. Thanks.

You might have to send it to Huntertown for that. I believe the ATF considers swapping baffles manufacturing.

Yep, have to get a/the manufacture to replace or repair suppressor parts.

Talk the Huntertown and your dealer. You can send it back for upgrade/repair while waiting in the form4.

Cool I was wondering if you could send it back while waiting. I just bought a guardian 22 and I am filling out the forms.
