    Default Hand cannons

I was shooting the 44Mag and 45LC today, I used my Lyman 245 Grain cast bullet pushed with Red-dot in the 44 Mag and The 45LC with my Lyman 255 Grain cast bullet pushed with Win-231. mid-range loads for both but you still don’t want to shoot much more than a box of each. It stops being fun after 100 rounds or so.

The .44 Magnum is a harsh mistress.

Buy a shooting glove ya sissy.

I still say shooting full house .357 loads out of a J frame is far more unpleasant than any .44, .454, 500 I've ever shot.
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.

Time to step up to the big leagues with that 44.

Take some 300gr hard casts and push them with 20.5gr of H110. Now that will get your attention!

Been there. Done that. Came away with a big smile - and a broken scope reticle.

Might call for a grip change, a set of Hogue grips might do the trick.
