Re: Sept 12 @1PM - GUNLAWYER'S PENNSYLVANIA LAW II - SELF DEFENSE & RELATED ISSUES
Is there a PA law 1 class? If so, is it needed before taking this class or are the two separated from each other and not taking the first wont effect what is learnt ion this one.

Re: Sept 12 @1PM - GUNLAWYER'S PENNSYLVANIA LAW II - SELF DEFENSE & RELATED ISSUES
I found this online...
The Philip G. Kline Firearms Law Workshop Series is designed for Pennsylvania gun owners and is delivered in three segments of up to 4 hours each. You can take 1, 2, or all 3 Sessions, each stands alone:
* Session 1: Pennsylvania law I- Buying, owning, carrying and disposing of guns
* Session 2: Pennsylvania law II - Self defense & related issues
* Session 3: Federal law- NFA, GCA, Brady, Lautenberg, etc.
Each Session combines a syllabus-based lecture interspersed with questions from the participants.
Session 2: Pennsylvania law II - Self defense & related issues
* The use of force, and the use of deadly force.
* Self-defense, necessity, and justification
* Aftermath of a good or bad shooting, civil and criminal
* Duty to retreat, the Castle Doctrine, and "Stand your ground" laws
* using NFA firearms for self-defense in the home or on the street
* Other weapons - machine guns, switchblades, stun guns, bombs, lions and tigers and bears, oh my.
* Paramilitary training - how much fun are you allowed to have?
I've done the Session 2 before and I recommend it highly. While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

That's what I was looking for.
Now, is in on the 12 like the thread title states or the 21 like the thread body states?

1. You don't have to take 1 as a prerequisite. This is a stand alone class.
2. It's on the 21st.Sorry about that...damned typos.
I'd like to have a 1 class but I wanted to get the nitty gritty done first. ;-)

I'd like to attend, but I won't know if I can for a few weeks yet. Is there a max participant number?
