I agree with the post about the swiss.
Swiss Gun Politics
I don't know if they're better than PA, but they're definitely the most gun friendly country in Europe.

yes they seem to be. they let all their soldiers keep their rifles after service, provided they get the automatic action removed and replaced with a semi auto, but I'd agree that they are the best in at least western europe. heck, It'd get a lot of people joining the military if they got a free m-16 upon completion of service. And some people wonder why the swiss were a tiny little country, yet the nazis wouldn't invade the country. a lot of countries require you to be a member of a gun club in order to own anything.

I think all Arab countries supply families with AKs and plenty of ammo to celebrate weddings, funerals, political rallies and any other gathering of more than three people.

I think we've got the most lenient laws (not counting places with a total absence of law). Beyond the currunt import bans and NFA registration there is not a whole lot stopping any citizen from getting whatever firearm their heart desires.
Sure, in certain other countries you don't pay a premium for artificial scarcity (thanks a lot, import ban) and once you qualify for one type of gun ownership you might be entitled to FA but no other country spells out an unconditional right like ours.
