New Member - Back Mountain
How's it going? This is my first post on PAFOA. Just figured I'd introduce myself.
So, does anyone know of any good places to shoot in Luzerne County besides the State Game Lands?

Re: New Member - Back Mountain
Welcome, the SGL's are the only public, they get busy on the weekends and have the stupid rule of only 6 in a mag for pistols and 3 for rifles, but the conditions arent too bad. An Eagle scout just fixed up the place as part of his final project.
If you want to join a private club consider Factoryville Sportsmans club, great place, not as far away as you would think, accepting new members, and dues are only $100 a year. Check it out or pm me and we can go shooting there sometime.

Welcome from Pittston. There are a few clubs in the area. The Irem Temple is close to you. The there is the Wilkes barre rod and reel club down hunlocks. There are a few down Hazleton way.
There is one close to the public range up in Suscon. No one seems to know who has it or how to join. It is the Oak st, shooting range or something like that.
I would think that there might be a few places toward Tunkhanic.troll Free. It's all in your mind.

Welcome from Dallas. The range on 118 isn't to bad, and being its all we have out here we have to like it.

Re: New Member - Back Mountain
Thanks for the warm welcome!
And I don't shoot on SGL. I normally go down to the Suscon range. Why shoot in the middle of nowhere when you can have a nice bench to shoot from? :P
