The Exchange Club of Western Lehigh is hosting its 6th annual Sporting Clays Shoot Friday, September 13, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays, 2750 Limestone Street, Coplay, Pa.

Proceeds from the fundraiser are used to support child abuse prevention programs in the Lehigh Valley. Child abuse prevention is the main program of all community Exchange Clubs as well as the National Exchange Club based in Toledo, Ohio. In 2012, the Exchange Club of Western Lehigh supported (6) local charities offering child abuse prevention and counseling programs in the Lehigh Valley.

As part of its Youth Activities Program and Community Service Programs, the Club also awards Community Service Grants to local high school seniors attending Emmaus High School and Parkland High Schools.

Registration for individual shooters and for (5) person squads in the Club’s sporting clays fundraiser continues through September 9th. Major sponsorships, shooting station sponsorships, and advertisements in the clay shoot program can be purchased through September 6th.

The event will begin 8:30 am with continental breakfast included. Shooters will then sign in, receive instructions, and begin shooting at 9:30 am. Lunch, individual and squad shooting awards, and a 50/50 raffle drawing will follow immediately upon conclusion of the 14 station 100 target shoot.

Fees for the event include 100 targets, shells, continental breakfast, barbecue lunch, awards, and souvenirs.
