The NRA Basic Rifle Course is a 14 hour training course designed to get you started on the right foot with the correct attitude and skills to become a better and safer firearm owner.
This course is held on Saturday and Sunday at the Northern Chester County Sportsmans Club and is open to anyone legally eligible to own and use rifles.
If you have a .22 cal bring it along, we'll teach you to use and care for it. If you do not already own a .22 come anyway, we will have loaners of many types available to you and you may just find one you like which you can then purchase through your local retailer.
The ammunition shortage is easing, but the course is low intensity and 150 rounds will do for the training. If you don't have ammo, we can arrange to make it available to you.
Lunch will be provided both days and is included in the cost as are all training materials and your course completion certificate.
Only ten spots are available, and as individual instruction is our priority, you'll want to sign up quickly to insure your place in the class.
