    Sticky'd!

    tl_3237,

Thank you again for the update on this subject matter!

It looks like we gained on FL a little. We should still be in 2nd place over Texas after having been passed up by FL a couple years ago or so.

The sad, sad thing is that all of Philadelphia only has a 2.5% participation rate for LTCFs. Where one needs it the most, one has it the least.

Don't know if the stats are available (probably not) but it might be interesting to compare the number of applications to the number of denials (or issues) by county.

Wonder where Phila would be on that list...

And, yes, thank you tl_3237 for the data...

Wonder what the crime rates would like like vs. the LTCF information? Seems like the population centers, blue counties, are low percentage wise with LTCF % and could possibly have the higher crime rates.

This thread is a box full of WIN, covered in a thick layer of Awesome sauce!

I note with glee that in the 5 year period 2012 back to 2008, over 850,000 citizens got their LTCF.

    Thank you tl_3237!

Can't wait to see the 2013 data!

    You're welcome.

2013 data should be published by PSP in late summer with updates to the PAFOA metric shortly thereafter.

From a casual observance, Centre Co took a serious hit because of the change in rules requiring applying in person.

But most of the boarder and 2nd tier-in counties seemed to have gained. ...possibly from people driving to the closest non-resident friendly county from their point of origin.

I made a figure set of maps based on the data provided...

I can manipulate any which way you guys would like to see the data presented, im working on the pct change from 2008-2012 but will most likely not get to that til later today...

These will at least allow you to visulize the numbers per county across the state.

.PDF Set can be downloaded here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/view/bdujq4..._2008-2012.pdf

you see a big jump of numbers from 2008-2012 in the boarding counties as someone mentioned above, here you can visualize it, Enjoy
