Thanks, it's a 30-1. Really nice 15 you have there. As you may know, that is my S&W revolver. It was the one I used to start this thread.

Thanks, I bought that the same day I bought my first hand gun, The first was a Browning High Power that is long gone. I sent that 15 back to Smith&Wesson and had an action job done on it,I let my wife use it to learn how to shoot, "bang" she was hooked. Nothing like a smooth 4" 38spl K frame to learn on.

Very nice piece,is it chambered in 38spl or 38s&w? I have been looking for one in that kind of shape in 38s&w,but it still eludes me.

I want a S&W Victory in .38 S&W like the kind Oswald owned.

Very nice! They both represent weaknesses in my collection. I need a heavy BBL model 10 and I'd like to pick up a few or the Ruger 6 series as well.

It's a prewar .38 special. Finding a nice .38 S&W may be hard, as you probably know, many if not most of them have been reamed out to .38 special. A nice victory with all the British proof marks in .38 S&W would make a nice addition, that's for sure.
