Re: Chester County Outdoors
Well that sucks. I used to really like shopping there and it sucks that I can't just go in there and browse anymore. I wonder why they decided they didn't want to reopen and operate as before.

Re: Chester County Outdoors
I recently noticed that the sign for the shop was back up. Apparently they reopened the shop a couple of months ago. It's not the main shop fronting Rt. 30 anymore -- entrance is on the side of the building. I decided to stop by and was surprised to see quite a bit of inventory still around (long guns and hand guns). There were the usual stuff... holsters, mags, cleaning supplies, cases, magpul stuff, and so on. There were quite a few customers... some filling out paperwork, some waiting in line. The place was bustling.

I did notice the sign again and was wondering. Didn't notice a side entrance but will check it out. Guess they couldn't resist trying again with the recent gun craze. Piece of the pie and all.

Re: Chester County Outdoors
Just wanted to post an update. I traded in an AK and picked up a Shotgun and some ammo from them a few months ago. As somewhat mentioned prior, the fireplace store is the main front entrance. The gun shop entrance is around the right side when facing the building from Business 30. Matt and Jen have been great and really made every transaction I've had before and during the pandemic incredibly painfree. The only issues I've ever had were not even with them, just with PICS/NICS being down or delayed which has happened to all of us during these past couple years, I'm sure. Definitely worth a visit as their inventory seems to be pretty well stocked whenever I visit!
Also wanted to post their latest FFL transfer info/fees. Pricing seems in line or better than some of the other local spots I've contacted:
