Silencer Application
I was up at my gunsmith's place outside of Lenox, PA (Well's Custom Guns) and he showed me a noise reduction device for a .22 that was available for other calibers.
He suggested that I might want to add one to my .300 Wby when shooting at the local range (Wicen's).
He further explained that there is a 'tax' or 'fee' associated with an application and life-long license available in PA for having these noise reduction devices.
Where would I go to get this? ~Many Thanks.

Re: Silencer Application
$200 transfer tax for suppressors. It's not a "license", per say, it's simply a special taxable item.
Read these first, should answer most of your Q's
