Kahr P380, smaller than Kel-Tec P-3AT
Kahr's got a little .380 in the works.
I love my PM9, but it shows a bit in light dress pants. Something smaller and lighter, but still trustworthy would be nice.

Re: Kahr P380, smaller than Kel-Tec P-3AT
Smaller than a P3AT huh? The P3 is pretty small to begin with. I guess soon we'll end up with Keychain guns for self defense, It seems like as soon as someone comes out with a new gun, someone else is trying to make a smaller one. .
The Kahr will probably be a better quality built firearm, but of course that will come with a price, Over twice the P3 msrp. I use my P3 with a belt clip and with a tee Shirt there is absolutely no printing whatsoever, So I guess I don't need anything smaller for now.
Kel-Tecs aren't bad, but they seemed to be hit or miss in the problem department, but there isn't anything that a competent person couldn't fix themselves or send it back to Kel-Tec and they make it right. I've never had to use Kel-Tec service, But I understand it goes above and beyond most other manufacturers, which is good to know.
Before I bought the Kel-Tec I looked at the Kahrs pretty hard, but cost was a factor and I do have other firearms for CCW , So I had to pass and since my P3 has been 100% reliable, I guess I did ok.
Good Luck and let us know how it shoots

Not a fan of .380's in general but it looks nice.
Going by retail price it is double the price of the Kel-Tec.
It will have real sights and a superior trigger.
If they can make it reliable it will easily be worth the price difference IMHO.

I think I'm still going with the Ruger LCP......if I can find one.

I just bought a new Ruger LCP .380 Auto!! You gotta check it out on their site. Don't get me wrong I'm a .45 man but for deep concealment it is smaller and sleeker than the Kel-Tec. I've yet to see the Kahr. I paid $320 for it, but they said it could be months before they get one in due to the high demand. I can't wait.

I don't mean to bash Kel-Tec but all I have to ask is would you be willing to bet your life on it? Having owned and then sold a PF-9, I wouldn't.
They make fun guns, but for SD?
The Kahr looks pretty cool but I'd let any new gun model bugs get worked out on that one too before carrying it.

Re: Kahr P380, smaller than Kel-Tec P-3AT
I dont follow. My P11 has over 1k rounds through it, ranging from Wolf to Speer GDs, with total malfunctions counted on one hand. Within 30' I can empty the magazine very rapidly into a COM target without coloring outside the lines. The MecGar magazines are super-reliable. The sights may be fixed and spartan, with a long heavy trigger, but I put things like that far down the list in priorities for a compact SD gun.
I would actually have to say my KT is not a 'fun gun' to take to the range. Its ugly, doesnt group rounds tight enough to impress anyone, and it leaves my hand sore and scuffed after 100 rounds.
I will say the Kahrs, and similarly the Ruger, take the same things a KT can do, and add a lot of spit and polish. A Kahr will group nicely, and is well known for great sights. Ruger will probably outlive a dozen KTs. But those things come with a price.
...praying Lycanthrope doesnt kill me in my sleep for this...
