Looking for a Range
Hey All,
I'm new to the forum, and I'm looking for a good place to shoot rifles in the Chambersburg area. A handgun range would be a plus. It looks like all of the clubs around require a sponsor, and I unfortunately don't know anyone. Where do you shoot?

Re: Looking for a Range
Unfortunately in Chambersburg you don't have many options other than joining a club. The outdoor range that was in Michaux doesn't look like it is going to reopen anytime soon, if ever. I do all of my shooting out in Adams County in apple country where we set up mock ranges and shoot into dirt banks in the middle of nowhere.
Chambersburg Rod & Gun doesn't require a sponsor to be a member. They prefer one, but I know plenty of people who joined there without a sponsor.

Shooters Range rent machine guns(so says the sign) so I would imagine you AK is allowed some ammo types may be prohibited. Give them a call at seven one seven - two six two - zero zero six zero .
