    Talking P08 Bolt lock question

    Would a P08 Luger lock bolt be interchangable between a 9mm and 30 Luger?

    I think so. But there might be a little different main spring rate(actually it is the recoil spring in a Luger, same general location as the mainspring in a 1911). However I doubt there is a difference in spring rates.

    The coil spring in a 1911 grip is for the hammer. Where as the coil spring in the P08 grip is for pushing the toggle back to battery.

    The 9mm is based on the 30Luger design.

    Due to hand fitting during assembly... parts interchangeability between any P08 is always a crap shoot!
