Default Fall Sporting Goods Only Sale o

SPORTING GOODS ONLY GARAGE SALE - DATE NOW SET FOR OCTOBER 18 and 19.

As per the other sales, it will be rain or shine. Sporting goods/mil surp only. I'll take care of the advertising/signs, sellers can chip in to help if they want.

If you want any more info, just reply here or PM me. Once it is firmed up I'll put more details here on the forum in the Events section.

This is open to any PAFOA member that wants to sell off any unused, seldom used, or unwanted sporting goods. Also a good place to maybe pick up something new.

I'll have everything ready for any transfers that need to be done and will offer that service at a discount.

In the past we have had:
    Rifles
    Shotguns
    Handguns
    Ammo
    Reloading Equip
    Archery
    Fishing
    Mil Surp
    Camping Equip
    RC Airplanes
    Knives
    Hunting clothes

So dig out the old/unwanted/unused/wife said to get it out of the house stuff and sell it to get new stuff.

I know that there will be the following guns for sale:
Savage 12FP w/accu-trigger (.204 Ruger), ammo, 6-24x50 scope, bipod (this is a true tack driver)
    Remington 700 Police (.308 Win)
    Winchester 190 Semi auto .22
    Marlin Bolt action .22
NEF Pardner SB1 12 ga single shot
    GSG-5 (Pre-lawsuit model)
    Ruger GP100 6" full shroud
Beretta 92A1, new, never fired, 3 magazines
Taurus PT1911 (w/Heinie Straight 8 night sites) - Although I'm still thinking about this one
    .300 Win Mag ammo

If I may suggest lets try to do this on a home game weekend, I feel it may increase the amount of "traffic" we get through and with a lot of people from out of the area there's a more diverse base of people coming through. Just my thoughts, I work every home game but I am available to help out on a Friday if we do a home game weekend and expect increased foot traffic.

    Josh,
Do you have the schedule of the home games and the start times? I'm of mixed opinion, on one hand, if it were a late game we might get more people Sat morning, on the other hand, the locals that don't go to the game may not want to venture near SC because of the game, no matter what time.

    Ron,

Early season has 2 home evening games scheduled so far.

9/14 is a 1800 kick off vs UFC and 10/12 is a 1700 kick off vs Michigan

While I know home games keep some locals in (that was my childhood til I was old enough to know better) I think the diversity involved with all the visitor into town may play to out benefit though it is a roll of the dice.

Well, 9/14 is probably too early and 10/12 is the FOAC Gun Bash and I'll be out of town on 10/5.

Well, here's some dates for participants to mull over:

    9/27-28
    10/18-19
    10/25-26

I'm leaning towards the 10/18-19 date (weather should be decent)

You might want to check your availability on 9/28 again.

Yeah, I remembered what was going on after I had written the post.

Well, let's shoot for Oct 18 and 19. I'll put a posting in the get together section and I'll put an ad in the CDT.

I'll be there. Trying to get into hunting so I'll be picking up some gear/clothes.

Might have some Milsurp gear to sell as well.

Your more than welcome to join us. We usually have a lot of fun during the sale.

I'll be getting the garage ready on Thursday (10/17) so you can bring your stuff then (anytime Thursday up to about 7pm) or Friday or Sat morning.
