At Muggs you were about 1/2 mile from where I normally shoot, SGL 183.

I was just up there last week on vacation, right around the corner from Muggs and 183. Some friends were going to go to 183 but didn;t have the permit, so they didn't go.

I love Lake Wally-what. Been vacationing there for 37 years, my family stays at the same resort for the last 43+ years.

Coming back next year and we might have to do an OC M&G somewhere.

Kind of surprising you had no encounters at all with the amount of tourist and out-of-town traffic in the area.

This sounds like a plan. Muggs has good food and from memory was reasonably priced, whereas some of the restaurants in that area are overpriced IMO primarily due to location (pure speculation).

Some of them can be. For the first time that I can remember we didn't eat at the Boat House once. The only restaurants this time around were Erhardt's, Capri and R&R in Hawley.

Erhardt's is a no brainer since that is the resort we stay at.
