Default Anybody know if the SGL183 shotgun range is back up?

Haven't visited in a couple of months because last time i was there it was closed, and I dont feel like driving 45 min again just to find out I cant shoot my trap.

So anybody been there recently? I think it had been closed because of littering and assholes, but I heard from someone its been reopened "or someone took down the signs" lol.

So any recent visitors who have been there know if the range is back open?

There's a rumor going around that it will not be re-opening. I haven't been there in a while but I'm not certain it has re-opened.

dyberry? Do you know how far that is from the Milford/Dingmans area?

If it's close is it free to throw and shoot trap?

It's a hike from Milford. A good 20-25 mins from Hawley. It's past Honesdale. Trap shooting is not permitted there. They just have a large pistol area.....4 x's the size of the one on in Lake Wallenpaulpak. And they have a 50/100 yard rifle area. It's a nice drive but from Milford it's a hike.

The shotgun section was closed off yesterday. I heard from a number of shooters there over the past several weeks that they aren’t re-opening that section.

The main section’s backstops are in poor condition for the last couple of weeks. I guess the game guys are slacking off a bit. I also heard they are closing the range for lead reclamation starting around July for 4-6 weeks.
