Re: New SR22 Owner
Congrats. Damn good price ! I hope you have some .22 stocked up so you can shoot the hell out of it !!
Looking foward to a range report. I have a M&P .22 and I love it but I am thinking of adding a SR .22 to my collection.
ENJOY !

Good luck. SR22 is great little gun. Ps. I spent many years around wellsboro area hunting and fishing. One of the greatest places!

Re: New SR22 Owner
I have one too. It has worked 100% with high velocity/semi auto 22.

Re: New SR22 Owner
Great deal for a great gun. Mine has cycled every standard, high and hyper velocity round i have tried so far with no issues other than the occasional failure to fire found with rim fires and then usually a second trigger pull takes care of it.

One on the best .22LR pistols Ruger has ever put out! Did you get the silver or blue version? I just ordered the threaded barrel for mine.

Re: New SR22 Owner
Enjoy it IF you can find .22 ammo. Mine runs at 100% now but it didn't when new. I cleaned mine, shot it and it was a jam-o-matic regardless of ammo. Multiple deep cleanings to include the magazines did nothing. Finally, at around 250 rounds, it started working reliably. Now, it is my training pistol for my grandkids with a light weight 2/3 size frame. It still prefers high velocity ammo to standard ammo.

Re: New SR22 Owner
You must have gotten a tight tolerance gun, mine has been flawless except for not extracting a few of the cheapest bulk ammo rounds. I measured them with digital micrometers and the ones that didn't extract were .030 thinner in diameter then the rounds that fired perfectly.
