This course concentrates on the basics that are either not covered in the NRA class or covers them more in depth.

Designed with new to novice shooters in mind, this course is will help you learn to evaluate threats in a new way and how to counter those threats.

This class is a prerequisite for Personal Defense Shooting Level 2 and 3 classes.

Situational Awareness
OODA loop (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act)
Proper grip
Drawing your firearm
Dry firing
Items to consider in a home defense scenario
Items to consider in a self defense on the street scenario
Cover vs Concealment
Basic shooting drills

Maximum of 100 rounds needed (if you have less, we can work with that). Any caliber pistol from .22lr on up is allowed. Revolvers & semi autos ok. Holster preferred but not mandatory.
