KAHR CW45 vs XD45S

Looking for a 45. I'm torn between these two pistols right now. I like the double action of the KAHR but have been an XD fan for years. I'm leaning towards these two due to the thin nature of both.

Anyone want to chime in with your thoughts? Pros and cons of each of these pistols?

I can only speak to the XDS in 45 as this is one I currently have in carry rotation. I have had it for months now and have put many many rounds through it. Very snappy and I would immediately suggest the Pearce grip ext (it has helped me greatly) to have a better grasp on it, but it is an excellent choice. Very accurate, especially for such a short barrel and very easy to conceal. In shorts and t shirt with an iwb holster, it disappears! I have only had an issue when I got a 7 round mag for it. It likes to double feed with the larger mag. A bum magazine I think. Never had a single failure with the 5 round versions.

I have recently added an HK usp40c to my rotation. I am exchanging thinness for number of rounds (I think I remember seeing that thread. Well, off I go to that one). Happy shooting

I cannot comment on the XD, but I love my CW45. Great trigger and smooth shooting.

Here is a decent comparison. Another thing to consider is size & price. The Kahr CW45 is a tad bigger, but it lighter. The XDS will probably cost you about $200 more. Also to give you a bigger headache, Kahr should be releasing the smaller CM45 soon.
