I hear ya'....life 10 years ago seemed so much simpler. It seems everything I own and every freedom I treasure is under attack or gone! I've been a good, law abiding citizen but the 2A is MY LINE in the sand. It is non negotiable and I will NOT support anyone that wants to limit it or take it away.

Not sure if that is a true statement. I have a neighbor who's son is a "Thuglet" but she has done evrything she could to raise him right. Sometimes your best efforts isnt enough. Soon this will all blow over and something else will be on the front page.

This is true.

I believe it is usually the parents, though. You have to be the parent all day, every single day. I think a high enough percentage of kids make it out OK that we end up believing it doesn't take much more than love, being there, and driving them to sports.

That's just dumb luck. It does take more than that to be sure.

But, yeah, parents do get blindsided sometimes and find themselves unable to correct a situation.
