Re: range off of rt 380 question.
I don't have a PA hunting license, I have a NY on e though. I've only been out here a little over a year. I'll probably just get the range permit as I don't have a hunting partner yet. I just got done building an AR that I want to zero.

I believe the old one was closer to the Tobyhanna Army Depot, but I was never there. The current one is very close to the Tobyhanna exit going north on I-380. You get off the exit, turn left on 423, and then turn right around 1 to 2 miles right near a maintenance garage, which looks like this:
...and they have a plan...

Kilroy you got a Pa.drivers lic? If my old mind remembers correctly a hunting lic.is 26 bucks if you don't get all the garbage and range permit is 30. Put your money to good use. The reason they closed the one over at 127 was they got tired of the commute going to fix the back stops. Yeah the pizza delivery terrorist from Fort Dix trained there, if we only knew.

Yup, I have a PA drivers license. Where do we have to get a hunting license from?

Kilroy just about every sporting goods place has lic. Check Wally World, Dunkelberger down in Stroud hell even my Ace Hardware up here by me has them. Remember to bring your NY one with you.

Walmart is the easiest and closest place to you to get a hunting license. Im right in tobyhanna, not too far from ya. Maybe we will run into each other at the range, or in the field. Good luck with the AR zeroing
