South Londonderry twp. preemtion violation

I recently have discovered that my township (South londonderry) is in violation. I looked at the list that has been stickied and found palmyra borough is on that list which is a town my twp is neighbors with but my twp is not on the list its self. Im pleased to report Palmyra Borough has fixed its violation issue and ammended its ordinance to mention only hunting related things and that self defense firearms are aloud. I don't forsee any issues of having south londonderry fix the violation but is it recommended that I wait for a twp meeting or should I just go in and just try to resolve this off the record?

Im also reporting these things so we can have an up to date list in the stickies section.

Try to resolve it behind the scenes first. If that doesn't work, go public.

I figured I would try that way first hopefully they won't just blow me off even if I'm armed with the facts in black and white. I will put it in to motion and report back with what happens.

As long as you don't approach them head-on, full-confrontational and all that stuff.

"We have a problem (emphasis on "we"). The township is in violation of state law, and we really don't need any big blow-up in the newspapers or anything if it isn't resolved." Or words to that effect.

Be nice first, until it's time to be not nice.
