    Great news!

Hopefully reciprocity with PA and others will follow.

This is from the Mongomery County Sheriffs website.

I already can see a lot of problems with LE regarding this new law.

"13A-11-52 states: Except as otherwise provided in this article, no person shall carry a pistol about his person on private property NOT his own or under his control UNLESS the person has the consent of the owner or legal possessor of the premises. It exempts law enforcement and other such entities from this article. Basically it says that you CANNOT carry a pistol, concealed, or not, on other people’s property without their permission so don’t try to carry your gun into Wal Mart or other businesses without their permission. Alabama has them. Consider Morris Dees, founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the people he employs. They destroyed a lot of Birmingham, but other than that, the difference between AL and PA is that while AL has liberals, the people there do a better job of containing the contagion of liberalism by standing up to it with a backbone and don't let them run things. Folks in the metro areas of PA need to learn how to do that.

Interesting. I wonder if lack of gun free sign might be considered as an implied concent.

With this new law Alabama will honor ALL concealed carry permits. So your PA LTCF and/or other respective permit will be honored in AL.

New law in Alabama takes effect on 1 August 2013.
