    Default Ranges

    Hi all,

Just finished reloading some new ammo and want to test it. Is there a range I can go to that does not require 1-2 months wait while they consider your app?

Sorry, but the last state I lived in had ranges available without membership requirements. i.e. walk in, pay range fee, shoot, clean up, go home.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,
    dp

Oley Fish & Game will give you a membership card on the spot if you go on a night they shoot clays (Look for an older guy named Don). They are an NRA Club and require membership to join.

The other two clubs I'm a member of have a wait time to process your application.

If you want to shoot indoors check out Sensibly Armed in Exeter.

Actually, Don is there almost every day, in the clubhouse. Great place to shoot!

    steveo,

    Very nice place.

I felt guilty that my new powder, Blue Dot, was so smokey that I thought I was shooting black powder! To all those there that day, I sincerely apologize.

Why? I think I chased everyone else out of the range. So embarrassed that I didn't shoot the entire test batch of reloads.

hehehehe It could have been the full power magnums I shot after those Blue Dots too.
