your township cannot over rule state hunting laws. If your in Washington county you are not restricted to shotgun only. Call the SW regional Office at 724-238 9523 and ask your question. What township are you in?

Apparently the regulations have changed last year and I never knew it.

Semi auto shotguns are good to go for all big game now statewide. It's in the digest. No magazine limit either for big game.

VEPR-12 here we come!

Must be a center fire shotgun and use single projectile ammunition and must be at least 12ga for Elk.
12ga title 1 firearm other style semi autos may not be included and may be treated like pistols.

Not so sure about that, Local governments cannot overrule state firearms laws, this is a hunting regulation. Lancaster County's Parks only allow archery,muzzleloader and shotgun for hunting. All of Philfydelphia is archery only, again a hunting regulation
