Freakin Hot
It's freakin hot outside .....days like today make me glad I have a small carry piece. The thought of strapping on my full size was was un appealing and I wanted to wear lightweight sleeveless shirt which can make even my CB Supertuck hard to conceal. I don't OC so today was a day for my Beretta Tomcat in my DeSantis Nemesis. I normally don't like only having the .32 but today I was glad I chose it. Home now and back in the AC .....just as bad a really cold weather ...just can't enjoy the outside in either hot or cold but a least in cold weather I can carry almost anything...
Anyone else have a hot weather carry piece?Fortuna audaces iuvat

Re: Freakin Hot
If the pants/shorts accept a belt, the gun hangs out.
No belt. Then just a TCP .380.

I carry the same SIG p229 every day year round. I'll even carry it IWB in a leather holster. It's never bothered me so much to go and buy a smaller pistol for these summer days

Yep. Summer peice is a 442 in the pocket or (rarely) IWB. Winteris a G17 or M&P9 or (mostly) M&P9c....

It's hot outside? Apparently you've never spent any time in the desert (Great American Southwest Desert or some lovely Middle Eastern locations). Out here in Western Pennsylvania it's eighty degrees. Trust me, that's not hot.
A special carry piece for warm weather? I normally OC, so I don't care.

Re: Freakin Hot
Today I carried a Smith&Wesson 28-2 in a Tom Threepersons holster. I opened carried. It was pretty hot and humid. Looking at the forecast for the week, today is going to be the coolest day of the week. looks like the 90's every day. how do you carry naked? LOL!

Re: Freakin Hot
I carry my Ruger SP101 .357 in an OWB DeSantis thumb break at 3 o clock forward cant. I'm open carrying these days, but a t shirt or polo easily and fully covers it.
If I were jeans I carry in a de santis nemesis pocket holster in front pocket.
IMO the SP101 is just fine for pocket carry.

Re: Freakin Hot
Try on Alabama or Texas, as it is like this every day for at least six months of the year if not more. At least with PA outside of the SE corner, summer is short and brief and the worst of it is over by August 15. That's what I like about PA, once you get sick of one season, the next is usually on it's way.
