Sig because I like the DA/SA and, to me, steel feels better and I seem to shoot better with it. YMMV.

Whichever one you can get on target the most just by pointing and shooting....without sights. Round count? Eh...my carry is an 8 + 1 + 8 w/BU mag.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Re: Sig P239 9mm or Glock 19 9mm
For 15 years my primary carry and duty gun was a SIG pistol. For the last 5 years or so of that time, my off-duty gun was a SIG P239 9mm. GREAT GUN!
Since 2005, my EDC gun has been a Glock 19. As I sit here typing this, the 19 is on my hip.
I think that the 19 is the best all-around gun that I have ever owned, (and I have owned a few over the years).
I still like the SIG P239 though. The one thing that I have told many of my students over the years is - a single type trigger system is easier to "master" than a traditional double/single action trigger system. Not that it can't be, just that it will take longer and more work on the users part.
Good luck on your choice, you really can't go wrong with either.Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Well said. I have a P228 and really like it in SA. Shoot it at the range alot. But in a high stress situation, would that different DA first trigger pull be an issue? Of course practice, practice, practice and I'd be fine. But I, and probably most, don't practice as much as we should. That's always in the back of my head, so I carry a Glock.

Which ever one you shoot better. As far as quality is concerned, they're pretty close.

I know you said other than round capacity but I'll take a 15 round mag with the option of a 17 round backup over an 8 rounder any day... I also am not a fan of DA/SA for carry since I find it harder to master.
