OC at Thorndale Payless Shoe Store
After being out and about shopping (OC'ing of course) with the wife and kids, the wife decided she wanted to get some shoes for the kid. I needed new sneaks anyways, so we stopped at Thorndale Payless Shoe Store. Initial conversation went like this...
Hi folks, welcome to payless shoes
Hi, how are you today?
Pretty Good. I see you have a gun. They won't let me have one. I might shoot up the place. (then he laughs)

He then proceeds to show me where they were. My wife went to the other side of the store to pick out the kids shoes. He stopped by the isle where I was for a minute and we made small talk, and then went on to help out my wife, and even gave the kid a little sticker to put on his shirt
At the register he offered us some coupons to use in the future and wished us a nice day. Not once was I asked about to cover it up, or told that I wasn't welcome in the store while carryingLast edited by AS70; July 13th, 2013 at 09:14 PM.

You do know he was probably referencing the employers reason for not allowing employees to carry while working and making fun of it.

Yes, more than likely he was, but despite of the BAD joke, he was very professional while I was shopping there and didn't bust my chops about OC'ing.

I believe he was joking about the employer's policy rather than being a prohibited person! (Hopefully )
