Police trades are always cheaper than civilian pre-owned. It’s taken into consideration that police guns are used hard and you will find police guns worth more than that 250 and some worth less. They just move them in bulk.

Once they thrived, they got greedy, now range time is cheaper than ammo!

You're missing something on the used firearms. Trop sends out a weekly email every Tuesday of all the used guns. It's always at least two pages long. I just received this weeks release and have attached it here for you.

I'm in no way a Trop loyalist but I've found some great deals. This year alone I've bought 5 guns off of them because the used prices were so low. The key to their used guns is getting there when they put them out. It's the same day each week and many of them sell fast due to the pricing.

I've never paid sticker price for one of their guns. The sales guys are always willing to consider a an offer if it is reasonable. In one case I wanted a $400 rifle but told them I'd only buy it if they could get me out the door based on the $350 cash I had in my wallet. They sold it to me for $325 including tax and PICS.

No dog in this fight, however to put things in perspective, i bought a bersa thunder brand new at another popular PA gun store, out the door cost was $264 with tax and pics. Their used gun pricing seems really high asking $239 used

My wife for whatever reason loves to go to lancaster and shop so when I get dragged along I would always stop off at trops and buy reloading bullets and other stuff. I went in there in April and it was dead. I couldn't believe how litle reloading inventory they had. Its definitely not worth getting off 283 anymore.

I went in last week, May 29th or so to use their Silencer Shop kiosk. I took a browse around and was completely in shock of what the store looked like compared to two years ago. The store used to be filled with firearms, accessories, and ammo. Now it is pretty bare with a lot of the floor space empty and the selection of firearms is small compared to what it used to be. Not sure if they got too big too fast, but it has definitely gone down hill. Not to mention the prices aren't very competitive compared to some other shops in the area.
