Re: Trop Gun
Ohh….I think I see now. You love Trop. Great! But they leave some things to be desired for many of us.
For example, bigger selection isn’t always BETTER selection. Higher pricing than many of the other local shops. It’s just not the shop that many used to believe was the “go-to” in years past. Are they worth checking out? Sure. But there are other shops that offer more right now. ( knowledgeable customer service, variety of pertinent firearms/accessories, etc)
I don’t wish them ill. I just know that there are better choices (for me and many like me) locally.

Like? I live in the Chester/Montco area and haven't been in a gun store in over 2 years. Any you would recommend?

Re: Trop Gun
I’m not familiar out your way…but out this way there is Lanco Tactical, Bluestone Firearms, a little farther East is Gettysburg Trading Post (although I’m not a fan of much of their pricing on new firearms, their used prices are pretty good). I’ve also been to Targetmaster in Chadds Ford, who seemed to have a great selection and good pricing.

Re: Trop Gun
Was in Trop today for the first time in a few years. Wow has that place gone WAY downhill!!! Pitiful ammo selection at high prices...saw better ammo selection in other shops at the heights of the shortage, nowhere near the selection of firearms and accessories they used to offer. Tons of empty space with aisles spaced and arranged to try and hide this but its painfully obvious!! Sad to see as this used to be a good shop!
