Re: Any OC'ers in the Poconos?
I miss Pike County, used to live there and grew up there for ten years. Now I am working in monroe county off 611, and it is completely different. OC in pike, trying to get the LTCF permit as we speak...

Re: Any OC'ers in the Poconos?
I have OC'd on Main Street in Stroudsburg. I will admit that I have not had any interaction with the local police there...either positive or negative.
I hate to stereotype, but if you are "local looking" you will not get a second glance in the Poconos. There is some animosity and stereotyping by some of the local population when it comes to "New Yorkers" and 'New Jersey-ites" though. BTW, this stereotype has little to do with skin color. It has more to do with attitude and how one carries him/herself.Last edited by Democrat Gun Owner; October 17th, 2013 at 08:55 AM. Reason: changed the typo "how" to the intended "local"
