It was a great day on the range. Super weather and great people who came ready to work hard and learn. I am glad that I could be a part of it. As expected, I learned quite a few things from Tony and Hans as well!

Re: Couples Handgun Training Pictures .......
Tony and the guys did a great job. I was very impressed. If you have never attended a class. GO.... You won't be sorry.
I was watching my betterhalf shoot and she was doing OK, Bear leaned over and told her something, and the next thing I know she is hitting all bullseye. I was amazed. But it is having the right people there that can point out little things that make this class what it was.
I must admit, I went thinking I wouldn't learn anything, that this class was below me. WELL GUESS WHAT!!!! I learned a lot.
When I wasn't stroking out Tony when I slingshoted my slide, I actually realized that there was more that I could learn. And learn I did. I picked up a great way to check for a round in the chamber on a subcompact from 27hand. I never knew about the "reset" click and to hold the trigger back after shooting to find it. And I have been shooting a long time, and am also a firearms instructor where I work. Just goes to show you that you can teach an old dog new tricks.
Patty wants to attend the 3 day pistol class now (God, I love it when your betterhalf wants to take more pistol training). So, I better start saving up some bucks so we both can attend. You don't think she is going without me do you?
Oh, and way to go Michelle. Patty has also said that an AR may be in her future, but not right away. She wants to master the pistol first.
You know she looked at me last night and said. "Will it bother you if I am a better pistol shot then you"? I just smiled. I love this women. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....

Re: Couples Handgun Training Pictures .......
First off,
Good pics Big Dog ( you can see who may be in the witness protection program). I think a couple guys grabbed the camera and took a few shots.
I had a great time with this class. Everyone was attentive and as BT said, you could tell people wanted to learn.
TonyF (who normally has Mark and Steve to help rotate presentations) did an excellent job of mixing up the instruction with personal experiences to keep everyone interested and focused.
I want to thank everyone in attendance for adhering to the safety rules (even when the hot casing went down the shirt ). That makes our job that much easier.
This kind of class gives people an idea of what equipment does or doesn't work without spending a ton of cash on items that won't be used much once you realize the shortcomings.
I was pleasantly surprised to see BT and appreciate him being there to help. I always enjoy his company.
Good time and good people.
