Hey All! Just wanted to say I've made the step from being a casual reader to an official Pistol owner. I grew up in New Jersey hunting and fishing my whole life so I know my way around shotguns and rifles but never took the plunge in to Pistols with Jersey being such a crappy state. I went to Clayton's on Easton Road last night and fired a bunch of my buddy's guns which were all fun as hell. I ended up walking out of there with a brand new Smith and Wesson S&P Shield 9mm going more for concealment on my first purchase. Next maybe another 9mm or even the Smith and Wesson 686 .357 pro that my buddy has...that thing is friggin beautiful and so much fun to shoot.

Glad to be an official PA Pistol owner!!! Let the collection begin!

Congratulations on your M&P Shield, and welcome aboard.

I have 9mm Shield myself and love it.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your new gun. I see that you are thinking concealed carry. You do need a ltcf to Conceal Carry in Pa.

Here is a good thread to read if you plan on carrying in Pa.

    Thanks guys!

I've got my application filled out for my LTCF, just have to go to my local PD to get my background check card and then to the county sherriff. Montgomery county adds that extra step in to get the carry permit.

And your next divorce if you let it get out of hand. Don't ask me how I know.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
