send email to ffl, was wondering myself. I'm guessing they moved to US because of Obozo and communist UN with arms treaty.

Here what my FFL wrote: "I believe the Glock factory is in Georgia. The gun is marked USA not Austria."

Re: Glock 19 $500 with NO transfer fee
They are probably referring to the headquarters/factory in Symrna, GA.
It's where the Glocks are imported to. To my knowledge they are not made there but either assembled or just test fired there. The different is in the proof marks after test fire. Again from my understanding(so don't quote me), the Austria proofed Glocks are less common.
This info is the best I can recall from my own research. Most of the info was on Glocktalk.com.
Edit: by factory in GA, I mean this is where you would send it for warranty work.

Re: Glock 19 $500 with NO transfer fee
After some google research, apparently Glock did start producing USA marked guns. This was to get around import/export restrictions on Austria with other countries.
I also read that the USA made Glocks aren't Tennifer finished due to EPA restrictions. Tennifer is what makes the Glock slide so durable.

Re: Glock 19 $500 with NO transfer fee
Perhaps I'm just ignorant, but I've never heard of this FFL before but based on his website it looks like a home-based business. Does he have an inventory of firearms like Ken Krane in Crum Lynne or is it more of a Dick Hughey operation (nothing wrong with Mr. Hughey BTW. Nice guy)? Also, any idea of what he charges for a transfer?

Well I don't know his inventory and if i did i would not post it online because it might make him burglary target. $25 for handgun and rifle.

Is that a Gen 3 or 4?
Solid price though. I'd probably get it if I didnt have one already.
