Re: "Excuse me sir"..... Would you shoot me if....
A few weeks ago in the Hermitage Walmart I had my 1911 IWB (don't print much being that I'm 6'2" 240lbs) but, as it usually does, my shirt had flipped up over my grip exposing it to whomever might glance down. It was late and the stocking crew was hard at work to make sure navigating the store with a shopping cart was damn near impossible. Needing some ant traps, I left my card at the end of the isle and excused my way around a young black man and an older white guy. They were both knelt down and both gave me a glance as I waked through. When I turned back, the young man had his eyes glued to me with that 'deer in the headlights' look but the older guy was just going about his business. After I wiggled back past the two of them, the older guy spoke up. "I applaud you for exercising your rights, you can never be to careful these days." We'll, I had no idea what he was talking about and replied "nice to see you, too". While standing in the checkout line I went to reach into my pocket to retrieve my wallet, my forearm brushed the grip and I then realized what he was talking abut and how dumb I must have sounded.
