Revolver will only work in Double action........Will not lock back for single action shooting.........Possible parts to replace?.......Nothing missing or broken, all springs in place......Replaced sear and spring.........Possible hammer?

Does it have a side plate you can remove to see if the sear is contacting the SA notch on the hammer? The notch may be worn too much to engage.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

That is typical of a poor sear to hammer engagement. The ledge that sear catches on were either cut to shallow, wore down, or some Bubba tried to give it a trigger job.

Sometimes a weak sear spring. And occasionally a dirty action.

Check the lock on the bottom. Sometimes the go slightly into the "locked" position and it keeps the hammer from going fully to the rear.
