I went to their Facebook page and under their likes they have the NYPD. Odd that a 2nd Amendment group would have them as one of their likes and even odder is that they are the only LEA listed.

This one smells to high heaven.

Here's detail on the "Texas businessmen" who created this thing:

    http://www.corporationwiki.com/Texas...134807942.aspx

Waylan Johnson Director at The American Rifle and Pistol Association, Inc. -
Jerry Boguskie Director at The American Rifle and Pistol Association, Inc.
Lance Culbreth Director at The American Rifle and Pistol Association, Inc.
Bob Gelinas Director at The American Rifle and Pistol Association, Inc.

I'm a bit suspicious of the "90% of gun owners who are responsible", that leaves 10% who are dangerously careless. I also see the usual Lefty codewords about compromise, reasonableness, maintaining your 2nd Amendment rights while still assuring public safety.

Is it possible to press charges against scam artists doing something like this?

The fact thattheir "SANE" program includes the word ADVOCACY is reason enough to be suspicious.

During the Clinton Administration one of his pals formed the "American Rifle Association", which was intended to peel off people who were "disgusted with the NRA". Pure white propaganda.

There isn't much left of it today but there is a facebook page...

In other words this outfit is into Institutionalizing "Gradual Incrementalism"

Today it's background checks and a ban on "assault weapons"

Tomorrow it's a ban on "easily concealed handguns"

Day after that it's a ban on "High Powered weapons"

Before you know it you can just visit your single shot 22 Rimfire rifle at the gun club... and pay a buck a shot to use it. AND you can pay a $200.00 Tax Stamp to buy it. Just like Feinstein wants to do with ugly guns.

Last time this country involved Texas Oilmen in some sort of change a guy from New England got his brains spattered over the trunk of his limo. No thank you!
