Default Need a little help with a Colt 1911 caliber list.

I have decided to collect at least one Colt 1911 in every caliber the produced. I am trying to get some help to see if I missed any calibers on my list. I also would like to get the other cartridges that 1911's were made in but not by colt.
    Colt mad 1911 caliber list:
    45acp- own
    9mm- own
    38super- Own
    38special- Own
    22lr- Needed
    40s&w Needed
    10mm- Needed
    38amu- Needed
    9x23- Needed
    Non-Colt produced
    22tcm-own
    45win-mag
    50ae
    357mag
Please respond with any others and if the caliber is not produced by colt please list the make and model. Thanks

    .357sig

It used to be you had to get a custom 1911 made in .357sig or convert a .40sw over. Now Sig Sauer makes a couple 1911 models chambered in .357sig.

There was also supposed to be two-tone versions in .357sig but I don't see them listed on their site.

.357mag is probably not really a 1911. I'm guessing you are referring to a Coonan. Close enough for me, but many purists would disagree, as they would with some of the other calibers.

Of course if you are talking all 1911 style variants, which is how I personally view my 1911 collection then you can add .380. Also .44Mag and I see you already have .50AE.

Then there is .50GI, .451 Detonics, .45 Super.

I'm sure there are some others I'm not thinking of, maybe I need to pull some of the 1911's out. I once counted about 25 or so different caliber 1911 or 1911 style/variants that I had.

    [edit]

Remembered a couple more. .400 Corbon, .460 Rowland. And LAR Grizzly made a .45 Winchester Magnum - they also made/make the .44Mag and .50AE variants.

0.455 Eley (or Webley); same cartridge but Colt used 0.455 Eley in the markings for those made for the UK Royal Flying Corps (RFC) in the early days of WWI. Also used the same marking for Colt New Service revolvers issued to the RCNWMP to give the Mounties their original title. Some of the 1911's were still issued to the RAF in WWII. This would have been the first 1911 for a rimmed cartridge. Dave_n (PS I do not have one either!!)

Should be able to get a 9x25 Dillon barrel for a 10mm 1911 also.

Thanks for all your help. I did not think about the 380 and I own two government 380s. My list just doubled basically. I am going to stick to the colt made pistols, no conversions. Although I could kill two birds with one stone if i could get my hands on a elite 10-40. I love and hate all these special runs colt did. My dream would be for colt to produce a 22tcm. I love that caliber from armscore.
