A friend of mines has a revolver that is in great mechanical shape but the finish is ruined. He was to have it re nickel but non of the local shops he call do revolvers. Any one know of a good place to send it to. Any idea on the price. It is a small j frame SW revolver.

    thanks in advance

a good job would cost more than the gun is worth. just spray paint it with some krylon.

Contact Brian at EFR ( Easton Firearms Refinishing ). He's a member here, and from the photos I've seen, they do some remarkable work.

+1 for Mahovksy's. They did an awesome job on the Dan Wesson I sent them. That being said, it'll likely run about $150 plus shipping and turn around time was not the best (around 5 weeks).

Will not do revolers in cerakote...its not a good enough finish to withstand this...

Plating is the only real option here
