the best parts is reading all the whiny liberals posts that oppose saying things like " this poll must be infected by the NRA" and similar. It amazes me that all they can do is blame the NRA all the time. what about the 90+ million gun owners in this country that don't want gun control?

Just as guns don't kill people, you know, people kill people.., guns don't save lives. They're inanimate objects. Just as it takes a person kill someone with one, it also takes a person to save someone with one.

So no, guns don't save lives.

I'd have to agree with you. If we 2nd amendment proponents take the stance that 'guns don't kill' we have to also believe that 'guns don't not kill'. (Improper grammar intended.)

The title of the poll should have been more directed toward gun ownership instead of just the gun itself. I'm sure that's what the poll is really getting at and how people are voting, so in that case: YES!

I don't know anything about debate.org, so I can't understand the demographics of those who would visit the site and vote on this poll, so it may or may not be an accurate measurement. But then again, many polls are influenced by the same issues.
