Primer Availability?
Hey All,
I'm looking for small pistol primers, about 2-3k preferably CCI. I will not spend more than $35 per thousand. I'm willing to drive a bit to pick some up.
I know Braverman's has some, but they are charging around $4.50 per 100 with a 3 box limit.
Thanks,

Re: Primer Availability?
Your just going to find them local in that amout for that price unless you have friends. Most are 4 on a 100 that I find with a 500 daily limit. Natchez has some this morning for that price but your gonna have to eat shipping and hazmat fees.
www.Steelvalleycasting.com is your new home for coated bullets and custom ammo.

Re: Primer Availability?
The best price I know of in the area is $3.95/100 ($39.50/1,000) for CCI small pistol primers at Big Buck Sports Shop in Wexford and that is with a 500 primer limit. Steel City Firearms in West View was selling the same primers a month ago for $49.99/1,000 (not sure of the price right now).
You may be hard pressed to find primers for as cheap as $35.00/1,000, but if you do find a place let us know.If gun control worked, Chicago would be like Mayberry, instead of Thunderdome.

Re: Primer Availability?
www.wideners.com is a good online source.
You also might try calling Sportsman's Supply in Butler. They at least seem to have items in stock.

Anthony Arms out in Mifflin had CCI last time I was in.. but they were limiting how many you could buy at a time.
