8040 dao to da/sa can it be done!?

OK so I picked up a nice Mini Cougar 8040 and really like the way the pistol feels in my hand. However, it is the dao model... I'm wondering if the internals & hammer can be swapped out for da/sa? I tried contacting Beretta directly but by the time I'm done with work their call center is closed. I appreciate any information anyone provides and I thank you in advance!!
