    I was disappointed to hear they were going to start using metal detectors. I guess I can cross going to PNC park off the list. The same thing started happening at Heinz field too last season.

    i do not go anywhere that violate my rights, and i will never want to see a ball game that bad.
    they can keep their right to search and pat down and i will keep my money.

    Well I was a good little sheep last weekend and left my CC in the bus. Followed my wife into the Home Plate entrance, they checked her tiny purse and wanded her, didn't even give me a second look. The guy with the wand allowed about 2 feet of space from my wife to the wand as he waved it around her vicinity.

    I asked the second kid helping with bags if they had lockers for sidearms, he said only for police officers.

    They wanded a few of the folks in front of us, never made the line stop, we just shuffled as we entered. I could not determine the selection of who went under the wand and who didn't, but not everyone was checked.
