From the descriptions it sounds as if one of the weapons might have been a 3-shot burst auto.

Others describe a 'shotgun' and an 'ammo belt' - maybe 2 shooters (one dead now). Looks like 6 people dead now ... technically a mass shooting. Correction: four dead plus the shooter.

Why do I get the feeling that right now Harry Reid and Diane Feinstein are on the phone discussing whether or not this is the tragedy they have been hoping for to bring back the tabled gun bill for a new vote so they can further their agenda against honest citizens.

I don't think there will be an anti-gun reaction to this shooting. As said, CA already has the strictest gun laws, and this was a gun free zone. I think the opposite will happen, as more, and more people are seeing the ridiculousness of more gun laws.
