He told me that is insane and with how much I clean I should be a lot faster. I have a lot of guns so it might be months before I shoot the gun again in my rotation so I do a very detailed clean afterwards. How long does it take you guys and to what level of cleaning do you do. I do full cleans and get all the internal surfaces/component cleaned.
I do it right, it takes the same times you're describing.

Twenty minutes up to one hour depending on which firearms. Pistols are the quickest usually twenty to thirty minutes, Mt Finn upgrade Mosin up to an hour.

Another hijack - I did read the whole thread but have one question/thought.

I am going to try this stuff but after looking at the FAQ's on their site I was planning on using the old fashioned method of cleaning them to rid the guns of the carbon, lead, copper, brass, etc deposited on the firearms.

Then use their product in the manner described by them. My thought is that they talk about the removal of carbon with their product but mention nothing about the other junk. I am guessing that I would want to rid the parts of that stuff first and that it would not adhere later. Dunno...

Did you do that? Am I wrong in my thinking?

Anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour depending the firearm and how many rounds went through it...

Are you talking about the initial prep before the heat treat?
