Re: What's the hardest gun you ever disassembled?
Not to be redundant but ruger MK series,I dont break it down,I use solvent brush and air pressure to clean it,over 1500 rounds no FTF or FTE. MDT

Re: What's the hardest gun you ever disassembled?
Going to be more redundant. Ruger MIII 22/45, tear down pretty easy putting back together not so easy. I do it in front of the computer watching Rugers tech video so I know when to put the magazine in when to release it and when to squeeze the trigger. Then I hope it locks in place. Last time it when very smooth.

Another vote for a Ruger auto, Ruger Mark III 22/45, great shooting accurate gun, one major pain in the ass to get back together.

Re: What's the hardest gun you ever disassembled?
My Kahr P9 has a spring that Kahr sent me as a replacement for the original. It is one, nasty, strong as a three-day old pot of Navy coffee spring. I thought it had to be the wrong spring and emailed Kahr's smith with a photo. He basically said, "Squeeze harder."

Re: What's the hardest gun you ever disassembled?
My Ruger MK0 must be vastly different than the MKIII, I never had a problem with it.....however trying to reassemble my father's Single shot .410 Steven's was a nightmare. Having to position springs (with tension on them) using toothpicks so they would line up with the pins made me regret ever offering to fix it for him.

Add another vote for the Ruger Mk II.
Then again I have not even tried to dissemble my new to me Winchester 1894."No, it's just a machine. I'm the weapon." - Jack Harper in Oblivion
