We MUST make this a priority.
How do we make this a co-ordinated effort? Are there people here that have an "IN" at their respective gun range? I think this should be done once per quarter/4 times per year.

I think if a few larger ranges do this, publicize it...word will spread.

Reducing illegal access to firearms is a law enforcement issue.
This is no more possible as is controlling drug trafficking or drunk driving. The number of personnel needed could not be supported by the people or our government, and would the people want this? With the responsibility of anything that could be misused, one has to accept the fact that it will be misused, and misused to a point with the gravest of consequences. Pretending otherwise, by writing more laws or employing more police, is a fallacy and only makes people feel good temporarily, that is the people who support such control. The number of incarcerated persons in this country confirm this, that there are people who will do bad things, and not necessarily with a firearm, and the number of people doing bad things have yet to be caught. Will more police help?

Their viewpoint is the easy access to firearms. In other words, all the legally owned firearms / owners are the source for criminal access to weapons. Therefore they always complain about reducing or eliminating firearms altogether and passing stringent laws which will only affect the law abiding. When it becomes difficult to do, then less people will do it and they will win.

We must accept that with the 2A, there are some drawbacks. But these drawbacks do not outweigh the benefits of guaranteeing liberty, freedom and preservation of life.

The real issue is that not enough people own AND carry firearms. If more did, more criminals will be literally stopped in their tracks. But that goes against their 'easy' solution / premise however misguided it may be.

Further, make more people a criminal and you reduce the number of people still 'allowed' to keep and bear arms. Their strategy is of an insidious nature.
