    That's what I figured. Wonder if it was reduced to a MISD. so he can keep his firearms.

    So, in PA a misdemeanor conviction precludes one from firearm ownership? Thought it was only felony convictions or domestic violence that precluded firearms ownership.

    When you combine all the statutes, it is felony conviction or state misdemeanors of more than 2 years potential sentence. PA's M1s can be up to 5 years, so they are prohibiting. Also misdemeanors that are considered domestic violence are prohibiting as well.

    A first degree misdemeanor (M1) carries a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison. Over 2 years and your are prohibited
    Second degree M2, up to 2 years.
    Third degree, up to 1 year.

    Plus, Possession do a Weapon on School Property is one of the prohibiting convictions listed on the back of the licensing application.
